Do you see on that Learning Materials site that there are a series of workshops offered? Let’s do two things: Let’s get a grant to buy lots of Reggio-style toys and materials so we can use them with the teachers in our face-to-face lessons about material use and philosophy. And, let’s make part of the class a trip to one of these workshops. It will be a mini-trip so we can work out the bugs. We can debrief online about important subjects like bringing earplugs, common pitfalls in group learning (ineffective listening, taking over the conversation, complaining and the importance of shutting up). It would be best if it could be an overnight but I know that’s nearly impossible. What do you think?
